Yarrunga Community Centre is a beautiful multi-purpose building located in Croydon Hills that offers quality, non-profit, non-discriminatory services to the community. The organisation delivers a range of community, adult education and leisure services that are innovative, affordable and responsive to community needs in a safe, well-equipped and maintained venue.
Yarrunga Community Centre opened in November 1996. The name means "beneath tall trees" and represents the importance of maintaining the natural environment in an area undergoing rapid urban development and evokes pictures of people meeting to share and learn in a friendly and welcoming place.
Yarrunga Community Centre is managed by a volunteer Committee of management which is elected each year. Committee members are actively involved in the management, planning and overall operation of the centre. New members are always welcome.
